Two little bears available

I am delighted to introduce 2 small bears, both just short of 7 inches tall. Both have wool felt paw pads with sculpting and shading.


First is Twiglet who is made from dark brown mohair which is randomly tipped with white. Such a sweet face which I have hand shaded and added extra eye detailing. I gave him a vintage ribbon in burned gold trimmed with a rusty pin and bell.

Gussie is also almost 7 inches too and is made from a blonde gold mohair /viscose blend fabric. Lots of hand detailing and shading make him a very sweet bear. I gave him a flamboyant ruffle made from hand dyed lace.

I have been thoroughly shocked by the news that some artist bears are being used to rinse cash from unsuspecting collectors on the  secondary market by selfish and devious scammers. They advertise a bear for sale when they don't actually even own it. They do this by posting pictures which they copy from websites such as this..then sell it asking for gifted payments through PayPal...giving the buyer no protection. When the buyer claims they have not received the bear they have nowhere to complain to as they have gifted the funds to the seller. This scam is not just happening in our industry ...but as our items are often high ticket value pieces it is appealing to unscrupulous scammers. Please be aware of fake eBay auctions too....it happens...

Please be vigilant ....as some innocent people have lost out to scammers...This is one reason why I ask sellers to check with me before using my photos and why I seek to have such sales removed if the don't ask. I often don't know who physically owns bears and what condition they may be in. So while using my photos might be an option alongside an actual picture of the bear now in the  light of these devious scams please be aware that I will report unauthorised use of my photos, unless you let me know beforehand that you would like to use them . 

Pieter...a stunning bear available

This sweet 16 inch bear is called Pieter. He is made from wavy SCHULTE mohair in a golden beige shade. He has bigger feet than I usually do and I am liking the look. 
I gave him blue brown eyes which I have hand painted and he has needle felted eye detailing and eye whites for added expression.
I gave him a very very sweet profile and a neat shaded and sealed nose in chestnut brown which tones in nicely with his wool felt paw pads.
He's a heavy bear and sits nicely.
I dressed him in a hand made corduroy dungaree set with matching cap. He also has a grey spotty neck tie.

His adoption fee is £495 including free UK shipping.

Pekoe...a sweet little bear available

I am delighted to show you my newest bear. This is PEKOE...named after the tea. He has been made from hand dyed fabric which I over dyed with tea to give a warm staining and add depth the the shading.

He is 7 inches tall and has the sweetest little face. He is made from short dense Schulte mohair and is quite a chunky chap for a tiny bear.I added steel shot to his tummy for added weight. 

He has wool felt sculpted foot pads and shaped limbs. I carefully shaded his face to create a soft expression. He has black glass eyes and a stitched nose in black floss.

Milo...a beautiful big bear available

I am so proud to introduce MILO. This stunning bear is 23 inches tall and is made from wonderful vanilla alpaca. He has leather hand painted paw pads in cinnamon , hand painted eyes with needle felted detailing and hand shading. He has a wonderfully shaped body with a nice chunky weight. 

I finished his look with a tie dyed silk bow!

This bear is so pretty and would look wonderful in any hug..

Whimsy...a sweet baby available

Here is Whimsy....this little bear is 8 inches tall and is made from ultra soft Tissavel fabric. He's pure white and he has the sweetest expression. I gave him a teeny black stitched nose to which I added a nice sheen of satin sealant. I added some careful shading but didn't want to steal the glorious effect of this superb fabric which has a wonderfully natural look.
I gave him pink wool felt foot pads which I added taupe detailing to by hand along with needle sculpted detailing.

I gave him a simple brass bell tied with a faded blue ribbon.

I am thrilled with this sweet bear and I think he will fit into any hug!
