OJO...my beautiful new bear

This is OJO...he's a gorgeous new 15 inch bear in a fudge coloured Schulte faux fur which is so gorgeous and so dense it really is lovely.
He has shaped legs and lovely feet which I have used a new trapunto technique on as I feel its nicer and much neater.  I used the same technique on his upper paws too.
He has the softest expression and I needlefelted both upper and lower eyelids using natural shades of wool...no painting here...to give a wide eyed look which is very soft and winsome.
He has a hand stitched and sealed nose and I scissored his muzzle to create a lovely sweet profile.
He has a wobble neck which holds its position so though he can be posed but he stays put!
He can stand if balanced, as he is nicely weighted
I made him a pretty ruffle in a gold foil ribbon which I crumpled and distressed and added a flower in gold satin to complete his look.
He is available for immediate adoption on a first come first served basis.

A beautiful 'wild style' Bear on eBay

I am delighted and proud to show off this gorgeous 17 inch new style cub who I named Zachary...I gave him just a hint of the woods and trees and I really hope people like him. Though he seemed to take me forever I have really enjoyed building this piece of imagineering! I have worked on him long into every night this week, annoyed the hell out of my whole family by showing him at every stage...yet I saw making him as rather like reading a long, complicated but enthralling novel which  thoroughly taxed my brain yet, as soon as I finished it made me yearn to keep going.

He is on eBay with no reserve , and a starting price of £100...so I do hope he finds a lovely home. I shall miss him when he goes because has been hugged and cuddled nore than any bear I have ever made..

I do hope this style is popular...rather like my pups and kitties, rabbits and Ickle baby bears I am thinking outside the box and learning to channel my skills into new areas. That is not to say I am fed up with making cure bears...far from it..I have just found that pushing my own skills harder makes me understand them more... my limitations along with what I am good at...

I have had a bit of a headache this week..I  had been longing to make a tiny little bear...mainly because I have had to do some hand sewing due to a major irritation that has stopped me using the sewing machine...not serious but annoying. So when I finally finished Walter I was delighted with him. Despite gazzillions of emails saying how lovely he is he did not find a home...probably due to the size/price ratio which I totally get but he took me as long, if not longer, than a big bear!!
Anyway, as you might have seen I removed him and gave him a makeover...and now Walter is Hattie...and she is on eBay from 9pm this evening, for 7 days , here is the link which won't be live till after 9pm.

There is no reserve on this sweet baby bear and only a £20 starting price. I have to charge postage for buyers outside the UK on this...sorry.
